Connect it, run the app, and switch.
Follow the order below so the device and the app come up cleanly.
Simplified Instructions
- Main PC first
- Wait one or two seconds
- Second PC second
- Run the app and finish the wizard
- Switch with Ctrl + F1
Setup
Follow these steps in order.
Connect the main PC first
Plug the main PC into the first USB-C port on the device.
Wait one or two seconds
Give the device a moment before connecting the second PC.
Connect the HID target PC to the other USB-C port on the device
Plug the second PC into the other USB-C port.
Run the app and finish the wizard
Download the client from downloads/key-hopper-client.zip and complete the wizard in the app.
After the wizard, click Start in the bottom-left corner of the UI
Start the app once the setup is finished.
Wait until the device check runs in the top-right corner of the UI
Wait for the checker to finish before switching.
Switch between PCs with Ctrl + F1
You can change this shortcut later in the UI.
